You could save yourself the time and hassle of queuing by buying your tickets online and then collecting your tickets from a FastTicket machine at any Virgin-operated station. To use the FastTicket machine, just insert your credit or debit card that you used to buy your ticket(s) and key in your FastTicket reference. If you get stuck, instructions are given on the screen or ask a member of our Virgin Trains staff who will be happy to help.
How do I get my FastTicket reference?
Your unique 8-character alpha-numeric FastTicket reference is generated when you buy your tickets either online or over the phone. Until you make your journey you'll have a copy of the FastTicket reference saved on the 'Check Order Status' page of the Virgin Trains online booking system, and we will also email it to you registered address.
If you didn't receive your FastTicket reference, or can't find it, please contact us on 0870 010 1127 with details of your purchase.
Where can I pick my ticket up?
Tickets are ready for collection just 2 hours after ordering.
